Ernie John – American Fork City Councilman
“I have known Stephanie for about 15 years as a friend and as a member of the American Fork Jr. High School Community Council. Dr. Stephanie Jones has my wholehearted endorsement as an excellent candidate for seat 7 on the Aspen Peaks School Board.
In my interactions with her I have always seen her commitment to the students, fairness to the teachers and staff and knowledge of legislative actions affecting our schools. I believe she has the skills, the experience, and the desire, to guide our new school district with wisdom, fairness to all, and fiscal transparency.”

Whitney Siddoway - Teacher
As a teacher who has worked alongside Stephanie for the past decade, I have seen firsthand the qualities that make her an exceptional candidate for the school board. She collaborates with educators across the district to strengthen resources for teachers and create enriching opportunities for students.
When difficult issues arise, Stephanie listens with care and a genuine desire to understand every perspective. She invests the time to gather evidence and weighs all sides carefully, always keeping her aim set on equitably advocating for students, parents and teachers alike.
Her principled leadership and steadfast commitment to our community make her the strong, thoughtful voice our schools need today.

Griffin Dean - Teacher
As a current teacher of American Fork Junior High, I know how important it is to have leaders who truly understand what happens in our schools.
Having worked with Stephanie Jones for more than fifteen years, I can confidently say she always put students first and supported her fellow teachers in meaningful and lasting ways. I have no doubt she will bring that same insight, dedication, and collaborative spirit to the school board”

I wanted to share some background on Stephanie Jones. I have known Stephanie for an unbelievable 50 years! We were debate partners in high school. It was during that time that I learned of her intellect, her tenacity and her common sense. It is that last quality that I want to highlight here.
In a time when there are charter and private schools dotting our landscape, new ones being built every year, that I think we need to take a step back and look at the public school system. I truly believe that more needs to be done to build up our public school system so that all children will reap the benefits of a good education.
It is the public school that has the mandate to educate our youth. Yes, there are alternatives, but I feel, in Utah in particular, they are unnecessary. If public schools have the resources they need and are run efficiently with the support of the community, you will have successful students.
To me, that is common sense. Stephanie’s approach to education embodies that kind of thinking. When I discovered that she was the librarian at my youngest daughter’s school, I was thrilled. I knew that she would be able to guide my daughter to worthwhile literature and help her whenever she needed it.
Stephanies common sense allows her to wade through all the rhetoric and the public outrage and find common sense solutions. She has my vote and I hope she has yours.
